Alec was born and raised in Belarus and found his way to Canada in 2008. He moved to Edmonton with his wife and two kids.

Alec has a long history in Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Sport Massage and Paramedicine. Dedicated to helping people with a wide variety of conditions. He incorporates various techniques into his individualized treatment plans, allowing him to manage and treat various injuries and conditions, both acute and chronic. In the last 15 years, Alec has specialized in treating Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Professional Athletes from different sports. He has also received postgraduate schooling in Pre/Post natal massage, Acupressure, K-tape, Cupping, TMJ (external), as well as Lymphatic Drainage. He offers a complete massage experience, providing patients with education and the tools they need to further decrease pain and dysfunction at home.

Alec has been involved in sports his whole life and holds a Brown Belt in Karate, included 10 years in Kickboxing full-contact combat sport. Hello, my name is Portia, and I am the Clinic Manager for both the Lewis Estates and Heritage Valley locations of Massage Experts. I oversee daily operations and ensure each and every one of our clients receive exceptional service. You can typically find me at our West location, and I am also available at our South location on Wednesdays.

I joined Massage Experts in October 2016 as a Front Desk Receptionist when our West location first opened. In June 2021, I transitioned into my current role as Clinic Manager. Throughout my eight years of customer service experience, I have developed a deep understanding and appreciation for Massage Therapy, and I am always happy to assist with any questions or concerns you may have during your visit.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am passionate about outdoor activities such as camping, boating, skiing and going to the gym. My favorite pastime is relaxing by the lake. Additionally, I work as a Lash and Brow Technician from home in the evenings.
