Alec was born and raised in Belarus and found his way to Canada in 2008. He moved to Edmonton with his wife and two kids.

Alec has a long history in Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Sport Massage and Paramedicine. Dedicated to helping people with a wide variety of conditions. He incorporates various techniques into his individualized treatment plans, allowing him to manage and treat various injuries and conditions, both acute and chronic. In the last 15 years, Alec has specialized in treating Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Professional Athletes from different sports. He has also received postgraduate schooling in Pre/Post natal massage, Acupressure, K-tape, Cupping, TMJ (external), as well as Lymphatic Drainage. He offers a complete massage experience, providing patients with education and the tools they need to further decrease pain and dysfunction at home.

Alec has been involved in sports his whole life and holds a Brown Belt in Karate, included 10 years in Kickboxing full-contact combat sport. He is extremely passionate about health and fitness and believes that professional massage therapy is an extremely effective tool for treating pain, as well as preventing injury.

Alexander graduated from Makami College as an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist (ACMT) in 2022. This allows him to use a variety of techniques to treat various injuries and conditions accordingly for each patient. He has a wide range of knowledge on sport related conditions and injuries and can provide the education patients need in order to decrease pain and improve function. Alexander is dedicated to tailoring treatments to each of his patients, with the intention to improve the day to day life of every individual.

Hi Y'all! My name is Portia. I am the Multi-Clinic Manager for our two locations (West End, Heritage Valley). You can find me working at the front desk Monday-Friday primarily out of our west clinic, and Wednesdays at our south location! I started as a front desk receptionist at Massage Experts when our west clinic first opened in October 2016. In June 2021, I upgraded to manager for both of these beautiful clinics. Throughout my past eight years as front desk staff with Massage Experts, my knowledge and love for Massage Therapy has grown immensely. At the front desk, I will provide you answers to any questions you may have!

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my friends and family. Some of my hobbies include: going to the gym, camping, wake surfing, skiing, watching hockey and my all time favorite; spending time at the lake! In the evenings, you can find me working from home as a Lash/Brow Technician.
