Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is one of the more gentle, yet powerful therapies. The treatment involves gentle manipulations at the sutures of the cranium, sacrum, and tailbone. The treatment releases tension from the membranes of the entire system, allowing the body to self-correct. Imbalances are corrected in the central nervous system between the cranium and the sacrum, resetting the body’s natural healing potential. USED TO TREAT: Migraines and Headaches, Stress and Tension-Related Disorders, Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries, Chronic Fatigue, TMJ Syndrome, Central Nervous System Disorders, Learning Disabilities, ADD//ADHD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder *** Craniosacral is generally done clothed. The benefits of this treatment include improvement of nervous system functions, reduction of stress, deep muscular relaxation, support of the immune system, circulatory system, endocrine system, and overall enhancement of health. A greater sense of calm, clarity, and connectedness are often experienced after a craniosacral session. ***  NOTE: Treatment may not be covered under all insurance policies ***
