Meet Alicia!

Alicia began her career as a Physiotherapy Assistant at a busy sports therapy clinic in HRM. It was there that she began to fully understand the implications of sports injuries, after having so many from playing volleyball, rugby and other sports when she was younger. While working there, she found her passion for working in the healthcare field and wanted to be more hands-on as a therapist, more so than to be in an assistive role.

Upon graduating CCMH, Alicia trained and worked with clients that suffered from neurological conditions (MS, CP, ALS, etc.), chronic and acute arthritis, migraine headaches, sports (post and pre-event injuries), post-operative clients as well as pre and post-natal clients. During this time she was told she had the natural ability to find and treat through her massage techniques, with a smooth, even, effective flow. Her treatment style can be described as moderate to deep, with the ability to modify her treatment styles and pressure to the client's preference. She likes to work on the neck, shoulders, gluteal region and legs the most, and with her background in physio, she has a wealth of knowledge on what home-care would be most beneficial to give to her clients as it is the key to success in any treatment/recovery process when used in conjunction with massage therapy treatments.

Dana is a graduate of Eastern College Massage Therapy program where he graduated with distinguished honors.

He is a medium to deep pressure therapist who specializes in treating hands, arms and neck.

Dana's favorite part of the job is helping his clients improve their overall health and well being and leaving our clinic feeling better, with his warm and welcoming personality; he is able to make true connections with all of his clients.

We currently have Dana treating two to three days a week at the clinic.; Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays and the occasional Saturday, he also works later in the day during the week to accommodate evening appointments.

In his spare time Dana loves spending time with his daughters, he is running to sport activities or camping at their family camper in the summertime, his girls are his pride and joy.

Prior to her journey in becoming a Massage Therapist, Jessica worked as a dedicated Continuing Care Assistant in a local nursing home. Her warm and inviting personality then decided to take the change and went back to school, graduating from the Massage Therapy Program at Eastern College.

During her time there she developed an interest in providing more patient centered care and more of a one on one care. Jessica is a kind soul that just wants to simply give back and this is why she entered this program.

She has been working for some time here at the clinic and all of her clients just love her and she continues to treat clients on Sundays, as she has been continuing her education to add the Acupuncture Program to her portfolio, this will allow Jessica to offer this as a secondary treatment to all her clients. 

Jessica is a light-medium pressure therapist who likes to help her clients relax and promote wellness and calm. She loves to treat neck, back hands and feet. Her goal is to learn as much as she can and expand her knowledge on different injuries and conditions and their treatments.

Jessica is excited to meet you and help cater your treatment to your specific needs , trust us- you will not be disappointed in your treatment of care!

Lauren has many years of experience treating clients with different needs. She became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2012 after graduating from ICT Northumberland College. She has extensive experience with deep tissue, pre and post op patients, rehabilitation, sports massage, as well as experience with treating patients with MS and Parkinson’s disease. 

Lauren is praised for her friendly demeanor, her ability to effectively communicate with clients, and her knowledge of different massage techniques. She prides herself on providing excellent client care, and helping her clients find a treatment plan catered to their specific needs.

Michael became a Registered Massage Therapist after graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2015 and comes with years of knowledge!

Through his many years of treating, as well as his time in school, Michael has gained experience with and is trained in Trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, Sports Massage, Deep tissue, Relaxation massage and Indian Scalp massage.

You can find Michael at our location 5 days a week, and on his spare time, you can find him on his farm keeping bees!

Pratik is a proud Eastern College Massage Therapy Graduate ; he has been practicing for some time at our clinic and his clients love him. In his free time he loves spending time with his family.
Pratik's goal is to help provide pain control and promote well being by using his acquired skills and knowledge to perform treatments to aid in your healing.

His specialties are as follows;

Having lived in Nova Scotia his entire life, Robert ‘Dylan’ Stewart graduated in 2014 from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), and since went on to operate his own clinic and work in other massage therapy settings. He is now a full time student at Saint Mary’s University, and teaches Massage Therapy clinics throughout the school year.
Dylan has great interest in treating all conditions, incorporating a whole body approach in treatment using many modalities and techniques. He has additional training in Jade Stone and Cupping therapy. His main goal while treating is to focus on the person as a whole, and incorporate self-healing into massage. He believes this is how one can help facilitate the patient on their healing journey. In his spare time, he volunteers with local charities and church groups.

Relax with Rachel!

With years of customer service experience, Rachel wanted to help alleviate the stress in others, so she went to Eastern College for massage therapy and 2200 hours later, she found her passion and is looking forward to working with each and every one of her clients. Her treatment style is light to moderate pressure, which is truly great for those needing to relax without the fear of having a massage that will leave them sore the next day.

Rachel is very calming with a naturally smooth flow to her massage that will alleviate your stress and anxieties.  She has built quite a client base here at the clinic and with her warm personality she is always open to listening to your needs.

Rachel currently works at the clinic 5 days a week, and has evening appointments available to help accommodate those with a busy schedule!

Meet our newest massage therapist, Sue!

Sue has been a practicing massage therapist for many years and holds further education in myofascial techniques, craniosacral therapy and energetic modalities. She is currently adding acupuncture and East Asian Medicine to the roster of ways in which she can reduce pain and increase quality of life for people. Sues approach has been known to replenish the cups of those who are in service to others; tradespeople, military veterans, single parents and healthcare support workers are just a few of those she loves to work with, applying an intuitive hand with the appropriate amount of pressure for the body…not too much or too little.
