Matt Hamilton

Registered Massage Therapist | Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy | MTANS

  • Matt is currently studying Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is a medical Fascial Stretch therapist. You won't find your typically massage treatment when booking with Matt.

    He has completed post-graduate work in Advanced Sport Massage and has traveled twice to Arizona to learn the art of Fascial Stretch Therapy. Matt is currently one of three Certified Fascial Stretch Specialists (CFSS) in Nova Scotia.

    Having worked with everyone from Professional Athletes to geriatric populations, Matt has the treatment tools to help a wide variety of clientele.

    Matt's treatments are carried out in gym appropriate attire. Please bring comfortable workout gear to get most out of your treatment.

    Currently, Matt's interests are in human movement; Particularly how therapy and optimal performance can be found through dynamic movement patterning.

    Outside of the clinic Matt enjoys playing hockey, strength training, primal movement and self care. His favourite part of the day is spending time with his wife and baby boy.

Serena Dixon

  • Raised in the Highlands of Cape Breton Island, Serena went on to complete a BA with English Major at Saint Francis Xavier University, then moved to Halifax to complete her Massage Therapy training at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Serena believes in a balanced approach between a light and deep tissue massage and utilizing her certification and experience

    in Cupping Therapy (small, controlled, suction cups placed on the skin) to decrease tension in fascia and muscles, target trigger point referrals, align scar tissue, and increase mobility. Cupping can be added to your regular massage treatment so you can feel the full benefit of both modalities. Working in both spa and collaborative health clinic environments has expanded her knowledge in assessment, treatment, and how to create both a relaxing and therapeutic atmosphere for her clients.

Melanie Jandron

  • Melanie graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), with a certificate in the Chronic Pain Outreach Clinic in 2008. She is an active member and is in good standings with the Massage Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).

    She enjoys adding Guasha (also known as scraping, spooning, or coining) to her therapeutic treatments, which can also help with headaches and TMJ dysfunctions.

    Along with Trigger Point and Myofascial release, she also has experience with Pregnancy massage, Cupping, Indian Head massage. She has also recently started offering Hot Stone Treatment.

  • Taylor's Massage Therapy journey started with an injury suffered during a football game in high school. After his doctor told him to stop playing and try something new Taylor decided to take another approach. He started to go to an RMT in his area. They quickly got to the root of the injury and he was able to make a speedy recovery. He was then healthy and capable to finish the season. Taylor's values on treatment and movement allow him to have this same effect on his patients.

    Taylor, originally from Cape Breton, moved to Halifax and graduated from CCMH in 2017. During his time in school he specialized in Sports massage. Justin Brown

  • Justin approached massage therapy as a profession after experiencing the positive benefits first-hand during his recovery from a shoulder dislocation. Specific, deep tissue massage and a well-tailored rehabilitation program resulted in a full return to activities, and inspired Justin to delve into the healthcare field. During his time at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), Justin worked in both the chronic pain and athlete inreach student clinics. He also volunteered for a number of sporting events during his time in school.

    Justin enjoys using deep tissue massage, trigger point release therapy, myofascial releases, and stretching during treatments, along with an individualized home care plan, to help his patients reach their goals.   • Having lived in Nova Scotia his entire life, Robert ‘Dylan’ Stewart graduated in 2014 from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), and since went on to operate his own clinic and work in other massage therapy settings. He is now a full time student at Saint Mary’s University, and teaches Massage Therapy clinics throughout the school year.

    Dylan has great interest in treating all conditions, incorporating a whole body approach in treatment using many modalities and techniques. He has additional training in Jade Stone therapy.   • Nova Scotia has been Jessica’s home since 2009, moving here from British Columbia. Since moving here she has successfully graduated from CCMH in June 2012. During school and work after, she has been privileged to work with a large variety of different people varying from different symptoms such as headaches, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, psoriasis, strokes, DDD, post radiation therapy and much more. She is experienced in a wide range of therapeutic techniques including cupping, sports massage, energetic fascial work, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage and overall general Swedish massage.
