Each RMT is part of their locally recognized massage college and regulating provincial association. Doreen Vinas-Hamilton

  • **VACATION ALERT** Doreen will be away from the clinic until May 2024

    Doreen’s massage training started of with 2200 hours of education from ICT Northumberland College of Massage Therapy in Halifax. She also gained additional training in Asia and in United States involving various massage techniques like Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (medium to deep tissue work using the feet). She uses her intuition and education to provide her clients with most effective treatments that includes a mixture of Swedish, Therapeutic, Myofascial release, Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. Her treatment combines passive and active movement with special attention to how posture affects overall health and well-being. Doreen is driven by her passion for wellness and helping other and plans to continue to expand and improve her skill in the future.

    Outside of Massage Therapy, Doreen has a degree in Business Management from The Philippines. She also enjoys cooking and travelling.

Laura Bombala

Registered Massage Therapy | ICT Northumberland College | Natural Health Practitioners of Canada

  • Laura Bombala graduated from ICT Northumberland College in August 2020. During her time there she had lots of experience working with professional athletes focusing on deep tissue and sports massage. She also has experience with myofascial treatments and Suikodu. Laura has a strong belief in working closely with her clients in order to establish a treatment plan that will best fit their desired outcome. Laura’s top priority when walking into any treatment is providing her clients with quality care and respect. She is looking forward to meeting any new and returning clients.

Mattea Meisner

Registered Massage Therapy | Eastern College | Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia

  • Mattea graduated from Eastern College with a diploma in Massage Therapy in 2013 and is registered through the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).

    Mattea worked in Halifax for two years until deciding to return home to the Annapolis Valley. For the majority of her massage career has been working in a clinical setting using more of a therapeutic relaxation massage with Shiatsu, Myofascial Release, and Indian Head Massage techniques to help clients who have PTSD, and anxiety. She has continued education in Cupping, Hot Stone Massage, Deep Tissue, and Hand Reflexology.

Mahala Oliver

  • Mahala attended the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in Fredericton, New Brunswick. While in College Mahala began her practice of massage therapy at the school’s student clinic and wellness clinics around Fredericton. Her time at those wellness clinics provided her with experience treating clients with neurological difficulties such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and stroke patients. After graduation, Mahala returned to Kentville, Nova Scotia to treat clients closer to home. She has also been treated at Massage Experts in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Mahala then decided to be closer to home and family, and she found her way to Massage Experts Greenwood.

    Mahala has a very client-centered approach to massage treatments that fixates on the health and safety of both her and her clients. An affinity for perinatal massages encouraged Mahala to specialize in pregnancy massage, high-risk pregnancy massage, labor support, postnatal treatment, and infant massage. The massage techniques utilized by Mahala during her treatments include but are not limited to: Swedish massage, joint mobilizations, manual lymphatic drainage, hydrotherapy, ice massage, hot stone massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, fundamentals of sports massage, breast massage, scar tissue treatments cranial sacral therapy

Andrew Kingham

  • Originally from the UK, Andrew came to Canada to practice Massage Therapy. He graduated from ICT Northumberland College in 2021 and was awarded the Wholistic Massage Therapist for demonstrating those qualities that best exemplify the art and science of professional massage therapy.

    As a client-focused practitioner with an interest in postural imbalances, chronic illnesses and stress reduction, Andrew offers:

    With an emphasis on preventative measures and the promotion of body awareness, Andrew uses a therapeutic approach when exploring root causes and long term solutions. Cassandra Bent

  • Cassie is a licensed massage therapist who believes routine therapeutic massages provide many benefits in daily health and wellness maintenance.

    Cassie is excited to re-grow her clientele after being off for the past couple years spending time with her 2 young children. She prefers therapeutic and prenatal massages but can also provide relaxation and deep tissue treatments.
