Biography

Celeste Poulin has had a passion for massage therapy and helping people from a young age. Her father was in an accident at work that left him paralyzed from the waist down and had permanent pins & screws in his back, causing him quite a bit of pain. It was then that she found her love of massage therapy.

One treatment here and there turned into regular treatments once a week and it became her dream to become a professional, which she did by obtaining her diploma in 2010 from the McKay Massage and Hydrotherapy Program in Saskatoon. She also has a diploma in Hot and Cold Stone Therapy.

Celeste enjoys all styles of therapeutic massage but prefers deep tissue and prenatal. She also practices relaxation, sports massage, and can address a number of conditions including TMJ, tendinitis, carpal tunnel, and more!

Celeste offers daytime and evening appointments to fit your needs and is very much looking forward to meeting you.



Jacqueline Blyth

Biography
Jacqueline has a strong passion for helping others which is why she left her position as a Medical Office Assistant. She wanted to learn massage therapy so that she could provide others with relief from both physical and physiological discomforts.

After graduating in 2010 from the Massage & Hydrotherapy Program at McKay Career Training Inc. in Saskatoon, she became a practicing member of the NHPC. Jacqueline enjoys a wide range of massage therapy; relaxation, therapeutic, and deep tissue. 

Jacqueline is a strong believer that communication between therapist and client is key to a successful and meaningful treatment. She also stresses the importance of the clients well-being as an essential step to a successful recovery. Jacqueline is enthusiastic to expand her knowledge through continued education in massage therapy.



Mieka Chelsom
Registered Massage Therapist

Biography

Mieka has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist for over 15 years.  She started Massage Therapy school in 2000 when her first son was 2 months old, and since graduating in 2002 with a 2200 hour diploma, she has been fortunate in working along side Chiropractors as well as running her own business in downtown Saskatoon.  

She is passionate about furthering her education and has completed 3 years of university, with a specific interest in Anatomy.  

She specializes in deep tissue, therapeutic massage with a big focus on trigger point therapy.  She will also cater to your own specific needs using a combination of Swedish massage techniques.  

She had the opportunity to instruct the Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy programs for 2 years at the massage school from which she graduated from.  


In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, which now includes two sons and a daughter.  She strongly believes in in leading an active lifestyle in the gym and outdoors. 



Mitchell Tucknow

Biography

Mitchell graduated with an Advanced Massage Therapy Diploma from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in 2013 and is a member of RMTA. 


The areas of therapy he enjoys doing is Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Drain, Therapeutic, TMJ Massage, Prenatal, and Trigger Point. Mitch very much enjoys what he does because he is a very compassionate person that finds satisfaction from providing pain relief from medical conditions or just overall pain from everyday activities. 



Susan Pompu
Registered Massage Therapist

Biography

Susan graduated in 2015 from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy and is a member of RMTA. 

She is passionate about assisting clients in finding treatments that work for them to find relief of their symptoms. 

She has received training in myofascial cupping and finds it is an excellent tool in her treatments with a lot of benefit for clients. 

Her preferred methods of treatment are those of relaxation, therapeutic, and muscle energy techniques to help relieve specific types of tension and stress.



Tara McPhadden

Biography

Tara spent her childhood on the family farm before moving to Saskatoon for high school. She completed her training at Foothills College of Massage Therapy in Calgary in 2006. In 2012 Tara returned to Saskatchewan to be closer to her family.

 

With over 10 years of experience as a registered massage therapist, Tara specialties include: Swedish Relaxation, Sports Therapy, Therapeutic, Aromatherapy, Cranio-Sacral, Myofascial Release, TMJ, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal and Thai Massage.

She has also recently completed the first degree in Reiki; Ushi Shiki Ryoho lineage.

 

Tara has always felt that her passion for massage therapy combined with her insight into healing the tensions of the body is a sign that she is in her chosen profession. Her clients appreciate her intuitive nature, and customized treatment plan.

 

In her spare time, Tara enjoys cooking and gardening and appreciates time spent outdoors. Tara is registered with Natural Health Care Practitioners of Canada and is excited to be joining the team at Massage Experts.
